  1.  @christina7702  I'm an early retiree and love the beach. I live in Texas, so heat has absolutely no effect on me. I couldn't care less about jobs or schools, since I won't be doing either. I think I would be OK there, but it probably won't happen. Thanks for the input just the same.

  2.  @Owlbutterfly  It's a lot closer to the beach than I am now. The nearest beach is over a 5 hour drive.
