We went from a president of peace to a president of war, and many warned that this would come. D's, though, don't seem to care about that, just as long the president quits making his mean tweets, which makes them "feel upset."

@zoeadkins9095 We're not dealing with the brightest bulbs in the box with this lot, who also seem to have a plethora of psychological issues from the way they were reared, and schooled. I would almost bet that most couldn't tell you who the governor of their state is. They're more worried about being safe from mental anguish inside their nice little confined mental safe space constructs.

@neighborhoodcatlady6094 It never surprises me anymore at some people's (your friend's) ignorance of world affairs, and politics. The D voters actually think that Assad is worse than the other government officials of the Middle-East, when he's not, and they think that it's about human rights. It has never been about that. It's about removing Russia's influence from within those nations over competition, and the control of natural resources (oil and gas) in those lands. All of this goes back to the UK's colonial days in that area, especially after oil was found in Persia in 1908. That became known as the Great Game: trying to keep Russia and Germany from expanding into what became Iraq and Iran, etc. Human rights is the heart string that they pull on the simple minded, who have no idea of what politics are really all about, which is mainly the economy, trade, natural resources, investment, profit, and money. That's what starts wars.
