First, read Isaiah 45:7 in the Tanakh, not the newer bibles. Next, using a Jewish encyclopedia, look up the word, satan, as it is a Hebrew word, and in most cases, it is preceded by the Hebrew "ha" meaning "the" in the OT. Dr. Eilene Pagals also wrote a good book about what satan actually is, and it is not what many Christians think. Ask yourself, when Jesus and Peter were arguing, why did Jesus state "get behind me satan"? He was not calling Peter some invisible anti-God but was using the word in its correct usage. "Get behind me, adversary." NT editors, over the many years, were guilty of capitalizing satan, and removing the words a and the from in front of it.
