I am sure that Der Spiegel and the rest of the German media, along with their journalists, receive money and favors from other nations to publish those nations propaganda, just as does every other country. Right now, in the US, the media is paid by China to spread the CCP's propaganda, and it is made to look as if it was written by US journalists, unless you read the fine print. The US media accepts payment for propaganda from the EU nations, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar all the time, to push their fake narratives. Follow the money. The MSM is nothing but a propaganda machine, and they do not care if they damage their own nation in the process.
