Epstein's case is almost a mirror image of the Stephen Ward case in London during the early sixties, but instead of Andrew's name, it was Prince Philip involved, along with high-profile people in the power elite such as the Astors and Harrimans. Ward was working with MI5, and running a honeypot on a Soviet operative. When the honeypot was outed, Philip denied everything, their war secretary, John Profumo, as well as PM Macmillan, stepped down, and MI5 threw Ward under the bus. Ward died by suicide, imagine that!
By the way, the call girl racket, where Ward obtained his girls, was run by the Mifsud brothers and the Maltese Syndicate at the time, out of Soho. Familiar name, isn't it?
