  1. It was never about Trump, but a full frontal attack upon the conservatives within the GOP, who were against globalism. It didn't matter who won the election in 2016, from within the conservatives, as they were going to be targeted. Several candidates were targeted, and spied upon, the same as Trump. Welcome to the progressive's internationalist and atlanticist project, which leads all the way back to FDR (and before).

  2.  @86BarbOmega  When the government called in the main primary candidates for their first intel briefing, the spying began then. Gov. Christie was one of them, sitting with Trump, and the entire meeting was documented by the F#I, looking for any tells from the candidates, especially when they were informed about Russia. This came out in several news reports, but it seems as if it was ignored by the MSM. They used this intel briefing to start the witch hunt. When Trump made the comment, "The Russians, too," as a question, they used that for their suspicion to start it.
