  1. If our educated governments read history, the black death arrived by boat. They knew it nearly a thousand years ago. So a simple action of stopping people movement like flights and ports. Would have saved thousands and cost us less.

  3. To late it's pointless. First off were an island, Johnson delayed lockdown by two weeks, according to current investigation into this mess. The damage was done fast early on, it's just mopping up now. That's how rampant virus's work. The government and press all along went on about a second wave.....after many weekends where massive gatherings have happened from protests to beaches. Markets, shops and pubs. Still no second wave? They haven't got a clue. A recent and ongoing study at Oxford university is looking into herd immunity and it's worked. Still early days but the scientifists, not journalists or politician liars say it's worked "you haven't actually got to catch covid 19 to have some form of immunity - just a cold or flu". It's so sad, so many have lot their lives but that's a tiny percent of the population but that responsibility rests at the top. Read history, throughout it, governments use the press and actions to reassure the people and wearing masks is just that. Reassurance, the government will do the bare minimum to protect its people. In ww2 when the threat of gas attack existed; the people were given gas masks for a partical that is way bigger than a microscopic virus. if you think masks work, sit and watch people. A surgeon wears a mask to protect the patient, it's changed regularly as damp filters don't work. But watch the people, you want to stop transmission, wearing a mask regarding the people is pointless, it's hygiene, just watch people, we are a tactile organism, people touch stuff then to remove mask touch their faces. No big science has been done regarding face masks, yes in hospitals but not regarding the real world study of this. Just lots of online noise.
