  1. Ww1 POTUS stated that he had sent 1000 aircraft.... his leading general went.. err.. we have nothing... British and french provided... this was the same in most other areas.. the US troops though well uniformed had very little correct issue for western front standard.. they played upon this to avoid most of the combat.. until POTUS demanded that he wanted 50000 dead so that he could have a seat at the victory table... US army and marines obliged by walking directly into enemy fire.... Kinda sick... Ww2 same again...
