Ukraine has had years to prepare.. they could have put 100000 men into construction regiments and build bunkers and tunnels etc they should have had every bridge and many road sections pre set for demo..... airfields absolutely hardened with bunkers for personnel and weapon racks etc all ready to go..... literally thousands of hunter teams with supply stashes pre positioned and so on and so forth.... They could have had 100 000 regular army 100 000 immediate reserves.... 100 000 primary militia and secondary reserves and so on and so forth... Instead they posted drone footage and videos of arming ununiformed civilians and training 10 and 12 year old kids..... The arrogance of their politicians in the last few years has been severe... the have let down their people and only the bravery of the common citizen is making up in any way for their lethargy....

Some weird comments on here.... increasing your military budget by several percent after being invaded (crimea) is a normal response to times of danger... vast sums have been spent on equipment but there's no point handing it out at the last minute.... simple engineering projects are actually highly beneficial for the economy and result in lower costs per unit.. less unemployment and channel low level resources into actual defences... simply pre rigging your bridges and such for demo is a basic task and basic weapons cost peanuts compared to actual peanuts... perhaps you chaps should do some research... Ukraine is an industrialised modern world country... not some banana Republic. ... given 3 or 4 years any such country can massively improve its lot....

  3. My recomendation. .. Assist Japan build up as a regional power. Supply Philippines with modern equipment to allow it to be capable of respectable local defence.... Reinforce Korea..... Develop a meaningful relationship with Malaysia and enhance its self defence capacity and willingness to cooperate in actions... Support Vietnam !!!!!!!! Forget aus and NZ they are weak and woke... not really capable for at least 20 years. .. and even then too far away.... They tell china to f off...
