Astons, even if they have reliability problems, are not at the absolute edge of technology, and can lack pure speeds against their "competitors", are still Astons. The interior finish is remarkable, they look lilke nothing else on the market, they sound good, they drive well, and most importantly, unlike the clinical 911 Turbo for example, they are alive, and give you emotion (i'm not saying the Turbo drives itself, just that it might not be the most enjoying ride out there besides the pure speed). The Golf R driver would shit himself simply because this car is insane, that's it. It wasn't pejorative, it's the truth. In fact everyone would, Golf R or not. I'm sure Shmee, in his FF, would too, for example. Or SOL in his (i suppose) faster AMG GT S.
