Slade Darklighter This channel is completely funded by Patreon now. So is InRangeTV. They did it a while ago, and never looked back. Patreon seems to be the way to go on YouTube now. It's a constant stream of money, plus Google isn't making any money! ;)

James G I think it is completely plausible/possible. All you would need to do is push the slide backwards slightly when you first grab the gun. That will put the gun out of battery, and make it completely inoperable. That's one of the biggest issues with semi-auto's from a 'tactical' standpoint. It is very easy to disable them. That's why some companies make those muzzle guards, which are L-shaped and mount on the accessory rails.

John Weems I was thinking the same thing! Even pushing it back 1/8" would make it inoperable. That's one of the reasons why they sell those L-shaped 'muzzle guards' that mount on the rails of a semi-auto pistol.

Adam Heywood There is an easier way to disable one of these, and keep it from firing. All you have to do is push the slide backwards slightly with your palm when you first grab it, which will put the gun out of battery. That's an inherent flaw in the design of all semi-auto pistols (with the exception of the Desert Eagle.) That is why some companies make L-shaped muzzle guards that mount on the accessory rails.

Nathan Talisien It might be possible. I know that you can stop a slide from moving by putting your thumb up against the back of it.
