Right eye = optical dexter, left eye = optical sinister. The left hand was traditionally used to clean the butt. Disease was traditionally associated with evil spirits. The left hand became associated with evil probably because of the spread of disease. This later gets applied to left body parts, including your eyes (evil eye, etc). The right side of your brain controls the left side of your body and visa versa. The left side of your brain controls your voice and verbal communication. The right side of your brain interprets words that you hear and see. The left hand is controlled by the silent side of the brain. When you disagree with yourself, the part of you that controls your evil hand is silent. Sometimes when you aren't paying attention, your evil hand will do stuff on its own, but you can always SAY why you did something with your right hand. Those are all true, look them up.

@KingNedya Yes, because you were paying attention to something else. The thing is, if you picked it up with your right hand when you ask yourself "When did this pencil get in my hand", there is an internal voice you have that can sometimes answer the question. @KingNedya In response to my previous response to this, I will say that your right brain can answer with an internal voice to answer the question of what you picked up with your left hand. But to do so, it must first interact with and communicate to the Left Hemisphere of the brain who then comes up with the words to express the answer given by the Right Hemisphere. This internal dialog is much slower than the internal dialog of the Left Hemisphere answering the question directly (and this difference in speed of response is greater in biological human males than in biological human females do to structural differences influenced in vitro by hormones and fetal development, along with extremely rare instances of surgical differences). Sorry for the paragraphs, that is what you get when I am in Washington where varieties of flora are more legal than in other states. This state of mind gets me caught up on technicalities and semantics.
