  1. thank you for stating "teenage girls" instead of the usual lie of "child brides". placing the arbitrary standard of 18 does not help tell the truth about situations. these people are not western people, they are not raised in first world infrastructure, many of the "children" are full time workers who never go to school, who never experience "childhood" and are more akin to small ignorant adults (and the "adults" aren't much more educated either) of the western world than they are to children of the western world. instead of picking arbitrary age limits we should be working with a base of standards already commonly accepted in that society and working to empower people from there. small but accepted or embraced changes over time will add up to a more peaceful change that adds up in the long run and does not create resentment that will be utilized by radicals to recruit for terrorist reasons in the future. peace is better than war, and in the long run will lead to more positive societal change.
