  1. I hate it how Thom assumes that two candidates are in every race. He is wrong on this one. In larger elections you generally have about 7 or 8 options. In gubernatorial races you might have 3-5 depending on your state, and in local elections it varies. I understand the two parties dominate politics, but we should have more choices and not limit ourselves to two parties... or one party as I like to say, the big government party.
