  1. @Larkinchance Right now taxpayers are paying for the USPS failure when they have a shortfall... and it's in the billions. At the very least the government should get rid of the USPS monopoly on standard mail delivery and keep the USPS in operation. Let them compete and not make poor people pay for their failure. Having winners and losers is an important part of progress. It sounds harsh, but it rewards success instead of subsidizing failure.

  2. Bernie and Thom think Mitt and Rick are going to destroy the New Deal. The evidence is just not true. Rick Santorum voted to expand Medicare and the drug prescription program. Romney talks like Reagan but he's a big government fascist just like Santorum. These guys will continue the war empire, dollar devaluation, corporate/fascist state and never cut the debt. I only trust Ron Paul to do the right thing to live within our means, cut waste, balance the budget and bring our troops home.
