@etzel33 The problem is that these social "contracts" do not work. For example, even the Supreme Court ruled that SSI is not a true entitlement and can be eliminated at any time. That doesn't sound like a good deal. I'd rather have government protect property and contracts, instead of the one to operate these programs. Plutocracies are not what libertarians advocate. In fact, we are very much opposed to them for many, many reasons. Sorry, that's not what I advocate.

@etzel33 Well, I am certainly not a "conservative who wants to legalize pot". I'm a libertarian that would deregulate all drugs like in Portugal so that we don't waste money on sending non-violent people to prisons so they have worse lives. I think Mises and Rockwell advocate liberty, not a plutocracy. I disagree with you on Universal Health Care because it's forcing others to pay for others. People should be sovereign and not put our future grandchildren in debt, which is what we're doing.

@etzel33 You are correct there are real owners of government and it's not us. The government and the elite banksters and corporations control what happens in D.C. and the game is benefiting each other. Ironically, libertarians truly do not want corporations to get a penny from government. Real libertarians don't play favorites like they do in Washington now. That's why I'm a libertarian and not a corporate whore conservative who gives subsidies to everyone from big oil to Halliburton, etc.

@jimmycrackedcorn226 That's just ridiculous ignorance. I've never banged a hooker or smoked pot, nor do I want a corporation. Corporations are not free market. Liberty means I have the choice to do something or NOT. And with hookers and weed I chose not to, but I am not going to throw someone in prison for doing something that is non-violent and voluntary. A part of being a libertarian is a peace philosophy of live and let live.
