  2.  @Xx17829xox  In fact, Israel has diesel subs with cruise missiles on board (you may guess about the warheads), but, yes, their range is obviously limited.

  3.  @alexpalmer776  That's a really tough question. Australia that way would enter the "nuclear club"; there are probably some international treaties against that ("non-proliferation", for example). Who knows if the USA would agree to do that; probably not.
