  1. Andrew, don't worry about the evidence. All evidence will be presented in court. It is not about numbers. It is about protection of democracy. Cheating with ballots, if it did take place, is an extremely serious crime, something between fraud, forgery and counterfeiting.

  2. If China invades Taiwan, and America would be unwilling to stop that, no-one would buy treasuries anymore. The agreement was: "you buy the treasuries, we cover your defense needs". If one part of the agreement is dumped, so there will be another. In that case, default is imminent.

This is how the financial system currently works: it spends much more than earns, and selling treasuries one of this principal sources of income. The debt is still growing, but since there is income, the dollar is more or less stable. If that income stops, default follows. Default means, in particular, rapid devaluation of the dollar. If in a particular country the national currency collapses that fast, civil conflicts usually follow.
