Nevertheless Europe should be able to prevail in case the US bugs out., but the main interest should be to keep the alliance up and running as a deterrent to Poccnr and Xina. Any kind of splitting that up will directly increase the danger for each of the members. And I guess that Europe has mostly woken up and is increasing their defence budgets since the threat emerges. The whole thing comes down to Free Western Democracies vs. Authoritarian WeDon'tCareAboutLivesOrHumanRightsAtAll Hot Garbage Autocratic Dictatorships trying to somehow unite. The West needs to stand together as it currently needs to stand for Ukraine.
