  3.  @occamraiser  Not quite sure how to handle this, but are you aware of the fact vim has more features than nano does? Of course, if you haven't taken the time to learn vim then you won't be aware of that fact and if the pitiful nano is all you need then it's fine. But it is shite for handling text files of any non-trivial degree of length or complexity.
