Unlike Singapore, Thailand is a vibrant, vigorous, persistent n competitive nation. Always exploring ways n means to improve Thailand regional shipping position. If they persist, it a matter of time they will find a way or solution that can be accepted by local and benefit Thailand. Whereas, Singapore is on complacent mode, its focus on maintaining power n control, oblivious to regional changing environment n not focus on staying competitive n relevant will cost Singapore dearly in the near future.

βΒ @sart3735Β Msia poor? π When is the last time u visited Malaysia? Its reported GDP per capital is actually much higher than reported while Singapore reported GDP per capital is much lower than reported. π

Its not silly at all, it just u failed to see it. Ships on western Thailand off load their goods on Thailand western coast. Ships from receiving countries can pick up the goods in western Thailand. How silly can it be?

βΒ @sart3735Β π€£π pretty dumb commentππ€£

βββΒ @codybank96Β it is optimal, it just u failed to see it. Goods can be loaded on western Thailand, transported to eastern Thailand to be pick up by ships from receiving countries. Significant distance save. 1.) Transporting on trucks r temporary solution, evetually it will be on rail. With China involvement, train speed can be improved significantly. Huge pipes can be used to pump liquid goods. There may be temporary problems initially, overtime it can be improved or resolved

ββΒ @codybank96Β Canal is not an option or a threat to Singapore. Canal problem is more challenging .
3
βΒ @codybank96Β near sighted? It suit u perfectly. Clearly u do not understand the regional development n power of Thailand n China combine. The threat is real, yr comment is typical of Singapore, complacent n waiting to be replaced.
3
ββΒ @codybank96Β move on, no point dwelling on things u failed to seeπ
3
βΒ @sart3735Β thats a dumb question, if yr head is not empty, u wouldnt be asking .π
3
ββΒ @codybank96Β Before i reply to yr question, how much do u understand ccp China? Whats their near future ambitious under current president? Have u follow closely its recent happening regionally? The answer to yr question lies with yr understanding of ccp China deep thought.π
2
ββΒ @codybank96Β if China do not get involve, this project would not happen. Will not dwell on Canal. It will not work !!!
2
βββΒ @zack.111Β π get to understand the reason for moving to Tuas first b4 comment π. And explain wat Singapore is doing to counter regional competitions n challenges.
2
β@codybank96 let me re type this. If China is not involve, this project will not start. Canal is not working, will not waste time dwelling on it
2
β@kevhall4802 another imported cuckoo bird? π when u ditched yr country?
2
β@codybank96 China has roads, rail n port management experience n expertise. The answer to yr question lies on how long China takes to build up its infrastructure , rail system n port to be the busiest port in the world. My estimate 5 years.
2
βββΒ @codybank96Β πas i hv said, if China is not involve this project will not startπ . Money is secondary if its coincides with their ambitious. This project is definitely a threat to Singapore entreport status.
2
βΒ @zack.111Β move on
2
ββΒ @kevhall4802Β ? lots of cuckoo birds?
2
ββΒ @entrydeniedΒ negative comment that hold no truth can be ignorant. Y r u bothered? π
2
βΒ @jer2911.LΒ when u ditch yr country?π
2
β@Appleorange.1234 arguing with a bunch of cuckoo birds that ditched their country, wat 4?π
2
Its likely to work if China is involved. An innovative ideal from Thailand n China. Singapore is at risk to become less relevant in shipping route in near future. Its faster than u think, my estimate 5 to 10 years max
2
β@TakashiNippon thats superficial, reality Singapore is highly vulnerable
2
β@sart3735 Did u say Singapore GDP Per Capital is the highest? π€£ππ€£ππ€£ Why is Singapore is still a developing country? π
2
β@angelosupsup3726 its a challenge for Singapore. If Singapore has good, competent, competitive leaders, it can face the challenge. Unfortunately, competent, competitive leaders are extinct.
2
β@codybank96 mega port at tua? Its merely port location shifting from west coast to tuas. Does it matter? π The reason for the shift is another joke, if u truly understand. Singapore is complacent and has no counter solution to regional challenges
2
It may works, likely to work with China support.
2
βΒ @kevhall4802Β move on if u dont get it.
1
βΒ @codybank96Β yr comment on Tuas is their official reason.
1
ββ@angelosupsup3726 Reserved is wat Singapore has. sad to say, i cant challenge wat u said. Its takes one wrong leader to ruin a country..
