  1. Having a good support network of people you trust and who are willing to just be there helps a lot too. Even if it is just to spend time going out for a walk or play games; knowing that someone cares makes a difference. It won't stop the thoughts from coming back, but when they do, you have someone there supporting you who treats you as a normal human being makes a difference.

  2. One thing I always remember is that behind the brightest and greatest smiles, behind the loudest the cheers; is usually a person who has the darkest of thoughts and who wants others to never feel what they do in a dark place.
