Comments by "단테 狼" (@DanteOokami) on "BTS says being a K-pop band with loyal fans makes them an ‘easy target’ in the U.S. pop scene" video.
Funny how only BTS was accused of this, (but don't do it); and yet there are artists in the US who actually do what they accused BTS of; plus, isn't it fascinating how those same US artists AREN'T asked about chart manipulation? Almost like certain media groups can't seem to believe that 7 good hardworking boys from SK could somehow gain such a loyal fanbase who love and support them and somehow coinciding with a certain upcoming US music award voting scam.....oh, I said too much.

@TheSeriousAnalysist I'm not saying they can't ask what they want; But what they ask should be fair. Why aren't other artists asked these types of questions? I never recalled reading other artists being asked questions like this. The article itself wasn't even about BTS's music or about their progression from rags to riches or even about how they felt about their musical achievements. I agree with you though that toxic fans need to stop giving BTS a bad name and in some places over reacting; But in this instance, especially after reading the article, I can see where they, (not the toxic ones), were coming from.

@TheSeriousAnalysist As for BTS, from what I've seen so far, they're pretty down to earth and insanely modest. Even Fallon said so in a recent video from The Tonight Show.

@TheSeriousAnalysist Objectively speaking, BTS has an insanely large fandom. And yes, I agree, it is a hypocrisy. BTS themselves talk about Loving Yourself and being kind to others, a motto that they themselves work hard to do; case in point, recent interviews and hate posts; it's sad and anger-inducing when toxic Armys don't extend the same courtesy. Being an Army myself, I try and call out toxic behaviour when I see it and report it. But it seems nothing is slowing down and obviously you can't get them all. What's interesting is that it's the loud toxic few who drown out the many. (All fandoms, not just Armys).

@TheSeriousAnalysist I've seen Blinks do that kind of toxic behaviour to their own too. (And other fandoms). It boggles the mind as to how and why human beings, (if they can be called that after such behaviour), do such awful things without thinking of the repercussions. And then they don't take responsibility for it either. (See cases like Goo Hara and Sulli).

@bembolbug I also think it's important that they highlight a growing problem of an expanding fandom. As Armys, we need to make sure we call out horrible people and don't jump on the bandwagon so quickly so that horrible things like this don't happen again. Everyone processes grief differently, for them, maybe it's bringing awareness that they feel like Army turned their backs on their friend and criticised the friend's difference of opinion as opposed to seeing where she was coming from.

@TheSeriousAnalysist And I'm very sorry to hear about your friend. That is an awful thing to hear about and I'm sorry your loss. (Losing someone you're close to sucks and hurts like hell, I lost my Dad recently to cancer, and I know it'll always hurt). The ones who did that to her are awful people and should be held accountable. It's sad that the loud toxic "fans" of any fandom is ruining it for everyone else; especially with such behaviour. Agreed, such a cycle needs to end.
