@terryk3118 Robertson screws often have to be turned slightly to fit the bit. The phillips head is completely angled so any way you put the screw on the bit tip, it will be snug instantly. Not a perfect fit like robbies, but it really doesn't matter that much when you're screwing thousands of screws. When phillips bit tips slip off the screw, the resulting damage is less likely to mess with the process on the next screw, as well. The way screwguns are designed, a little bit of bit slip is inevitable, so phillips makes the process faster. Longer screws and wood screws I definitely prefer robbies. For drywall, you wouldn't have a prayer trying to keep up.

I love Robertson for most things but they're just too slow at drywall and steel stud framing.
