@Chulitatr "Native Americans" were at war with each other for thousands of years and didn't respect each other's tribal territories or right to exist... you forgot to mention that. You also pass by the truth that the concept of a united group of people known as "Native American" was not even remotely a thought at the time the Europeans arrived. It was a system of "our tribe" and "everybody else" in the tribal culture of those days. Let's not also forget the unsuccessful attempt by many tribes to completely obliterate the tribes of their enemies. The ideal of "gain by conquest" had been going on in North America long before any colonists arrived on those shores. BTW, what did the "Native Americans" do with trespassers?
