You don't have to look back too far. Look at how the State Department and the Executive refused to answer questions or provide information on Benghazi, Libya, and Syria. Then when someone illegally leaks information or illegally unmasks a confidential source's identity, they refuse to cooperate in uncovering the leaker or unmasker. Whether they are compelled to testify or provide records is totally a matter of partisan politics, political protection rackets, and unelected bureaucrats who regularly thumb their noses at elected officials.

Yep, I've been shouting about that since the Obama administration treated almost everything as "top secret".... and even used that official designation on information that was clearly NOT classified.

@dianahoward2606 You call out the BS and anyone pushing it. You call, e-mail, and write your representatives... mine HATE me, but I regularly give them an earful of anti-bullshitism. You get involved in campaigns to get these people out of office and elect people who will vow to do something about it. You run for office yourself... not necessarily President or Congress, but your school board, county supervisors, city council, party official, etc., you go to meetings and "town-halls" and hold their feet to the fire. They only way the leftists got power was through activism, but too few on the right want to get active. It seems that they think donating to their party should take care of the situation, it won't.
