Yeah.... when someone won't give a straight answer to a simple question, the antennae should shoot up like a rocket. "I will put aside everything I've done, said, and written and become COMPLETELY objective." When someone tells you that, please try not to die laughing in their face... it might hurt their feelings. It's abundantly clear, she WAS an activist; she IS an activist; and she WILL BE an activist. If you want an activist appellate judge, then you've made the right choice.
