The founding fathers wanted smaller states to have disproportionate say, because that was part of the "Great Compromise". Smaller states have more electoral votes per capita. I think every person in America should have an EQUAL say in choosing a president. Why don't you?

  3.  @WinningThisOne  All states have both cities and rural areas. I see what you are saying but it sounds pretty arbitrary. What if some day the rural areas were the ones voting against you? Would you feel the same? One person one vote is the only clean way to do it.

  5.  @frankernest3712  That's why they only eliminate on at a time. Then they go back and recalculate. So one of the Rs would go to the next round with the Democrat. That's why it is sometimes called "instant Runoff"
