@ajanantonyraj2063 After the assimilation of Karavas, Duravas and Salagamas to Sinhala community the last group to join them were Kandy Nayakar, you can research about Nayaks of Kandy, thery were former warlords of Vijaya Nagar Empire, they invaded Kandy from Mathurai, captured power from a sinhala king. At least over 200 000 assimilated with them during British rule, after handful of them were taken as Prisoners along with the king by the British. Even today during many weddings in Kandy the priest recite sanskrit mantra, Rajapakse always run to Thirupathi temple, they didn't forget their heritage. Even Bandara Nayaka family, JR came from this background, no wonder they were christians, I mean opportunists.

@ajanantonyraj2063 Mahavamsa was written 1500 yrs ago, at that time even the Sinhala writing structure did not exist. Sinhalese were not majority back then. Many things happened after that. You can research about Karavas invited by Prakramabahu the VI, Salagamas, Duravas all came from south India. Then Vijaya nagar war lords invaded. Wach south Indians started Sri Lanka's iron age. If they had taught you the real history the war would not have taken place.

@gouthamkondapavuluru1959 He identified himself to the police officer about him, who he worked for, Suba Sundaram, he did not hide anything, you cannot take photo in front of blast and come back alive, I bet that he did not know anything about the blast or plot, beside the LTTE never hired any public to take photos in their 30 yr history.

Mahavamsa was written about 1700 yrs back, telugu invasion happened around 400 yrs back, how can you find about this in the mahavamsa? Beside the Telugu Background government don't want Sinhalese to know certain things, they even withdrew the stamp of Vijaya. JR was not a pure SInhalese, Bandara Nayaka had south Indian background, even Vishnu temples were built in Kandy around that time, by the telugu war lords. There is a sinhala moive about the king, can't remember the name.

@thanujaperera431 He did not try to flee, him, his wife, daughter, Pottu amman all of them probably committed suicide, by blasting themselves, none of their bodies were found. Better to die with honour. Blame your politicians for all sufferings, they are the root cause, tried to divide and rule, destroyed the economy. @rajendranalawade2624 They survived 30 yrs bcs of cyanide. By eating cyanide they avoid torture and avoid harm to fellow fighters, that's possible only for dedicated fighters, not to looters and rapists.

Rajiv deserve no sympathy for starving a sathjagrahi to death, without food or water for 12 days. He broke the accord and handed 12 commanders of the LTTE to SL gov which started the war, just a foolish leader without any political knowledge. Even CBI Ragothaman and Major General Harkirat Singh slammed Rajiv for that.
