  1. I'll be brief. For some odd reason the "bad guys" for us (American) for the longest time were the Russians. We were told that the Russians were Socialist (not true), Communist (sort of true), and anti-religious (not true). If anybody did anything that a Russian would do (use a Russian math book to validate 1+1=2, wonder out loud if the Russian people were ok but their government bad, etc), you were called a "pinko" (Communist/Russian/atheist sympathizer). Unfortunately some of us didn't grow up and are now voting. These people are now called "boomers".
