  1. What is astounding is that after almost 22 months of the Covid-19 pandemic raging across the world we have Russia now locking down hard. We are now actually going to vaccinate little kids starting from 5 years old. Where is the scientific community in all of this? How come this virus is still so active? Why doesn't it die away or at least be like a flu virus? We don't vaccinate little kids for the flu, so what is about Covid-19 that makes this virus so dangerous for them? It's caving in our whole way of life. Do you want to know what I miss terribly? Going down to the pub on Friday night to see a local band and drink a beer with my friends. Now there are no more friends and the pub doesn't have live music. We'll get through this, but what we should do is do things that need doing that we would normally overlook in good times.
