Can we really understand the consequences of having a barking mad polticition, that's an English adjective but I think it fits the bill, telling over 12,00o untruths and still having credibility in the heart land? It beggar's belief until we remember that in our capitalist world, the minute someone hits billionaire status, the law bends his or her way. Chris Christie lost all credibility when he changed course in pre-election 2016 and suddenly back a befuddled Trump. He showed his true face which was a faceless face. What Chris Chrisie has done to recover ground is to insist that he is the true voice of truth to power in American politics, and looking at the American political scene from abroad, we can see that Chris Christie is the quintessential American politician of our time.
