  1. The attention span dilemma is worth looking into. First, thanks to Jim and the distinguished guests weighing in on the supposedly dire aspects of Russian President Vladmir Putin's health, it's a waste of time speculating on anybody's state of health. We all know people who looked like they were going to drop dead only to stay alive for decades. This is wishful thinking writ large on the part of everyone who wants to see an early end to the war. What CNN and mainstream news affiliates have to do is come up with a way to keep the news of the war fresh. You've got to refresh the memory banks of ordinary people who need to see progress in everything going on in today's world---or they get bored. Why not have a regular posting of UKRAINE: What is today's big picture? This is an excellent time to start thinking about how to report on the Ukraine war and always thinking about how to get the facts out to the people in a way that makes people want to listen. Why keep the attention of the world on Ukraine? Because what we are looking at boys and girls is the doorway to two future earths. Either Putin is stopped cold from annexing and conquering a sovereign country or we are going to be on this merry-go-round till the cows come home. If we help the Ukrainians stop the Russians and send them packing, the higher-ups in government will do the same to Putin and this my friends is where Gary Kasparov comes in because how beautiful it would be to see Gary become President of Russia.
