Yusef Salaam is an example for everyone who gets in front the mirror and thinks he or she got a bad deal with their life. Life is all about overcoming obstacles and Salaam found the key to his mind by his faith, but most of all believing in himself. One hopes Yusef reaches a high position in government, but as far as inequality and all of its children goes, the only thing that is going to change our societies and bring equality to everyone is for us to get off of capitalism as our economic system.
