Mr Smerconish always has top quality content in his videocasts. As an overseas viewer, I think what President Biden has going for him is that he is going to do whatever it takes to get your country where he thinks it should be, and he knows he is in office for 4 precious years and not one day more. This frees him from caring what the polls say. This makes his presidency unique and it is why he's going to get a lot of things done. It's time to realize that former President Trump's major contribution to your republic is in showing how absolutely no one can stop the American machine of democracy. It's good Trump has brought the extremists out of the woodwork. Trump may be barking mad but he has done his country and the world a service by showing to us all that people who have lost their minds can do only limited damage to the countries they govern. Our democracies need to be tested and tested again, because then and only then will we wake up to the fact that we cannot sink to complacency in a world that is a tinderbox. We must never let ourselves believe we cannot overcome anything life throws at us.
