  1. None of us can imagine what it would be like to have a rocket slam into your house, appartment or workplace. None of us could imagine going home after work and seeing your flat, your house, your appartment building destroyed and everything you own gone up in smoke. None of us could imagine what it would be like to have to cower in the basements and bomb shelters and hear shelling all night long and come out the next day to see your street in rubble and blown-up structures and cars and dead people. America and her allies are doing a great thing to help the Ukrainians fight for their land. We are all going to be relieved when the war is over, but we are also going to be shocked by the atrocities that have happened that we don't know about yet. What President Putin has done is usher in a new era; our world will never be the same after the Ukrainian war. CNN and news organisations from dozens of countries have done a terrific job in making this conflict known to the free world.
