  1. Fareed, you have taken political analysis to a new level, but I think we have to realize the Biden / Blinken strategy is probably using Lavrovian diplomatic tools. What are Lavrovian diplomatic tools? I don't know really; I just made that up, but essentially what I am saying is that they are probably saying one thing and doing another behind closed doors---much like the Russian foreign minister has done throughout his illustrious career. The Russians have made lying into an art form and I think the west is starting to realize it's not working to spell out operations for the Russians to simply print out and be able to follow step by step. You are right; Russia is the key to a lot of things; but your government can't let them know what they are thinking. The Ukrainian war is turning up the heat all over the world and China has started to give Putin the support he needs by threatening all-out war if Taiwan goes independent. We're seeing the kindling being gathered for the first fires of WW III.
