What struck me earlier today was that I was thinking about the first Superman movie. Please: don't worry; I have something relevant to say-----because as the baby Superman's spacecraft blasted into the timelessness of space and left his dying world, the soon-to-be Clark Kent was zooming through the 7 known galaxies. If you remember, Marlon Brando's booming voice can be heard dictating this decree to the future man of steel: You must not change human history. Boys and Girls, this has to be why there are up to 50 countries like the USA helping the Ukraine. Why do you think we are so revolted at what the Russians are trying to do? We simply refuse to let President Putin change the course of human history. We love the Ukrainian people for their uniqueness and their human qualities of togetherness and love of family and friends. Vladimir Putin misjudged many of us in the west thinking we would let Ukraine get absorbed into Russia. But we cannot and will not allow the great Ukrainian people and magnificent Ukrainian culture to be erased from human history and become Russian. The world would be a bleak and empty world without the Ukrainians having their own country and customs and culture.
