With all due respect to Dr Fauci, who has a CV a mile long with achievements most medical professionals could only dream of, but half the people in America are not listening to the distinguished top doctor's impassioned pleas to get vaccinated in America. It's not Dr Fauci's fault, but there needs to be someone else making the plea, someone who is more in tune with the times and someone who speaks the language wary and sceptical people listen to. It's no public shame to step down from a powerful position if you're not getting through, Dr Fauci, but even from across the world where we are tuning in, it's obvious you need to step aside and take pride in your phenomenal career. Please, let someone else take over.
