@dirtbagleftist1688 No, she didn't. She mentioned the combative nature of the hosts. Not that that was a problem. She wants everybody to have such a trial by fire.

@dirtbagleftist1688 She didn't say they should have asked less combative questions. She has never said that. In fact, she has said the opposite on several occasions. Your denial of that reality is not my problem.

@dirtbagleftist1688 If you could refrain from quote-mining Ana out of context, that would be great. But you have to do that, because if you quoted her completely, you would have no case. She said the framing of the questions and their combative behaviour was a clear tactic to scare the audience with talking points. Which is true. Being combative is fine, if the questions are fair. However, these hosts ask questions that can mean only one of two things: 1) They are utterly ignorant about the issues they are asking about, and thus incompetent as journalists, or 2) They are pretending to be ignorant to appease their bosses and trick the audience.

@dirtbagleftist1688 Again, Cenk conducted the interview. You don't know that Ana had the questions asked. It's not uncommon in interviews to be asked questions even if they have been somewhat addressed in the past, to clear the air. That was the tone of the interview. Not at all like the town hall with Bernie.

@dirtbagleftist1688 "It seemed to me that they were Ana's questions." That's, like, your opinion, man. "they were poorly framed and not researched." They were fine. Not at all combative. They were compassionate, if anything. Cenk was raising concerns progressives have with her so that she could address them right there in person, in full context. And he was nodding, agreeing and accommodating. It was a super fair interview. "She is more progressive than Bernie" Progressives are fearing Obama v2.0. Bernie has been consistent for maybe his entire political career.
