Claiming, however, that new generations are circling the drain in terms of intelligence reveals ignorance of your own generation, and of those passed. Kids have always been dumb. Their purpose is to vex their elders and cause them endless grief and heart ache. Furthermore, general IQ levels are on the rise, not decline.

The crux of the matter is that IQ tests have gotten harder over the years because of an average increase in IQ test performance. It's called the Flynn effect.

  3. Ana failed to consider that if someone plows into her as she's zomby-walking her way across the road, the occupants of the car might also die or suffer grave injuries. This not to mention the mental anguish said occupants would get of having plowed into her. Or, they could swerve and involve more people in an accident.
