"Most of that sounds like entitled drivel that demeans real sexual harassment."
Sounds like you already had your mind made up on the matter.
"But as a matter of fact I've been sexually assaulted and harassed many times at work by women. But as a man I just had to get on with it and had no options to complain as I'd be laughed out of the office if I complained,,female privilege in action."
Yes. That's wrong, too. Men, like women, are forced by social roles that are enforced by both genders. Men are severely disadvantaged when it comes to treatment or understanding for depression or other mental ailments, and anything to do with sexual harassment. We are supposed to bear the brunt and take it with a stiff upper lip. Our entire identity as men may otherwise questioned. Situations like you describe are awful.
"rofl honeybun really?"
I figure the cuter the nickname a big guy gives you, the more reason for concern.
"this is feminism bottoming out on things to complain about."
What about your complaining?
"Looking at tits is not a sexual advance just as women staring at my ass isn't a sexual advance."
Again, is it not sexual in nature? And, I'm not talking about a passing glance. That happens to everyone. Both women and men glance at other people's breasts and butts. I (and Ana) am talking about good, long stares whilst talking to that person, in a professional setting. I find it amazing that you find this as merely rude behaviour.
"Sorry to break this to you but we evolved to find each other attractive and checking out the opposite sex is a natural as taking a shit or breathing."
You're not breaking anything to me. That humans find each other attractive is not a relevant point in this discussion.
"You're essentially advocating the humans change their very nature."
I'm advocating that people should feel like they can be interviewed or otherwise spend time in a professional setting without having their primary or secondary sexual organs stared at.
Whether you wish to attribute that to human nature is irrelevant, since not all natural things are good. Narcissism is part of human nature. So is xenophobia. Both are ugly as hell.
"Wether you care to admit it or not many women who wear clothes to accentuate their assets want male attention. Only draw back is they also draw attention from males they're not interested in as well."
Absolutely. But, if they dress conservatively, that may also results in negative reactions; from men and women. It depends on the country, profession and such.
"Once again get over yourselves because if a woman is interested in you she wants you looking at her puppies but if she isn't interested you're a creepy pervert. They want to have their cake and eat it in essence."
What if she wants to be interviewed on tv, in a perfectly ordinary dress?
