  2. If you limit yourself to reality then the WWII U-boat campaign never came close to starving Britain out of the war. Even during the worst period 90%+ of the ships got through. See Clay Blair's two volume Hitler's U-Boat War.

  3. A Harpoon or Exocet would only cause superficial damage. The large multi-Mach Russian missiles would do significant damage.
