  1. This is why you don't hire bloggers to serve as senior advisers to the government - this is exactly why. Dominic Cummings is an unserious, opinionated, entitled arsehole who treats ordinary people like chumps. He doesn't care about the country, and he doesn't show the office he's been elevated to the respect it deserves. He'd be unfit to serve burgers at a McDonald's - let alone working in Number 10. He travelled cross-country during the height of the lockdown while displaying symptoms of Covid. Professor Ferguson was expected to step down, for less. Why should Cummings be any different? The fact he has the cheek to invite himself to SAGE committee meetings, and attempt to curate the conversation as if he were a leading scientific mind - with his degree in Ancient and Modern History mark you - speaks volumes about his craven arrogance.
