Coronavirus is scary, but these simple steps are how you can do your part to stay well, and avoid spreading the virus: - Wash your hands often, and thoroughly. - Don't touch your face, especially your mouth and nose, while out in public. - If you cough or sneeze, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue (and dispose of the tissue in a bin). - If you cough or sneeze without a tissue, try to do so into your elbow. - If you feel unwell, stay home and wait to see how it develops. - Discontinue non-essential travel to affected areas. - If you think you might have the virus, DO NOT attend your local A&E or GP surgery - call 111.

  4. No more than anybody else. The real risk is not that this pandemic will wipe out humanity, but rather that it will strain healthcare systems beyond their breaking point. I don't know about Ireland, but the UK is especially poorly prepared in this regard, due to Conservative mismanagement, and chronic underfunding of the NHS.
