I don't know if I buy that. If you were alive during the 90's you'd be aware that it seemed like there were at least a dozen, if not 2 dozen bands doing great things. I mean Pantera, Metallica, Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, Alice in Chains, Dr. Dre/Snoop, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Guns N Roses, Tool, Wu Tang Clan, the list goes on and on.
Sorry I don't buy it.

"If you spend 2k out I'm almost certain gratuity will already be added."
That's arguable.
"If that bothers you dont work a job that your income is based off people's generosity."
That's the thing. I'm a college student and a waiter. I AM headed toward that path (of not working a job based on people's generosity). But in the meantime I'm a waiter. Your statement was wrong though, it's more like if tipping bothers you, don't go out to eat.
"Learn a real world skill or a trade."
I am. Are you always this arrogant? Are you always this pompous?
"I'd be more inclined to tip a cook then some hostess or bartender."
Well normally hostesses aren't tipped. I get the impression you think there's a lot less to being a waiter than there is. Because I'm a waiter and it can be ridiculously demanding. I mean I've had days where we were understaffed and I was waiting on the entire restaurant myself. That's 20 or so tables. So I'm getting/making drinks, taking orders, putting those orders into the computer, running the food, seating guests, watering the tables, replacing silverware for the next course (on every table), bussing, clearing and resetting all of the tables, taking all of the special requests while in the middle of doing all of these things (can I get some salt? Cream with my coffee?), dropping bills, retrieving and running cards, greeting and saying bye to guests before they leave, expediting, washing, drying, polishing silver ---- all of that for 20 different tables simultaneously. I've worked retail, I've worked manual labor, I've worked office setting jobs and waiting tables on a busy day was far more demanding than all of them. You clearly have no fucking clue what it all entails.
