@GrillerRohde all old engines were better they had no electronics no DPF no Anti Blue they were not constantly blowing gaskets gaskets like now a lot of breakdowns V has discontinued (not completely) but in many companies it has completely dissapeared (from some models) turbos SCs are barely seen and old engines were simplier and easier to fix nowadays they are harder to fix more complex computer operated and BS in the service garage where i work most cars coming towed to repair heavy damages are after 2013 the old ones come driven for tactical maintainance i have a 1983 Toyota Corolla i only need to replace oil once a year or after covering the KMs and so tires filters sparks after their KM belt replacement when it reaches the KM limit and my neighbor works for ADAC he tows mostly new cars also there are more explosions fires misfires in new engines pump issues and in everything they get recalled by the manufacturers for serious issues electronic issues are common automatic transmission is a pain in the Arse parts are shitty made low quality and you spent fortunes my customers had traumatic experiences with new cars while the old ones do not have issues they still run in perfect conditions after even so many years and KMs a new car will never reach 2 Million KM and in bad conditions they also stand unmaintainace oil leaks are also common in new cars airbag failures indicators also showing a lot lot of problems with seatbelt retractors and after 5 years a new car will shit over also crash test failures margina and poor IIHS rating and 0 to 2 stars to Euro NCAP while old cars had 5 stars in Euro NCAP and Top Safety pick in IIHS nowadays the whole body is covered in sensors and shit and they look awful too while old cars had a simple design and classic and car looking while new cars look like some space shuttle shit i explained a lot about them i hope it helped you understand
