  2. Lumpy since we're in an era of words losing their meaning, hence a greater need for context, I don't wish to come across as contrary, for I agree with the gist of your comment. Nevertheless, there's a vast difference between a pack and an ant hive. Both entail a kind of social order, as does any human tribe or society, but the ant hive is a collective; a wolf pack is not. The essential element for human beings is the family. Beyond that, it gets debatable, but it soon becomes an issue of Borders, Language and Culture, and warriors are required to guard the borders and protect the culture. Scholars are needed to protect the language and advance the culture. Farmers are also needed to feed the families, the scholars and the warriors. Can this all be done by a collective? Ans: yes, but only with the most repressive, miserable results. Can it be done with capitalist freedom? Ans: yes it can with wonderful results, but it is fragile. It requires the self-government of individuals who are morally bound by a culture of belief that transcends politics. The western world since the reformation was largely bound by such a moral influence, but the atheism and secularism of the 20th century was disasterous. America was largely spared, but now the disaster is affecting America, Britain and other places like a cancer, but I digress. Idk the specific prescription that is needed, but I know that as individuals, we need to relearn to be scholars and warriors. We also need some independent farmers. We will also need to work together to reclaim freedom. The strength of the wolf is the pack and the strength of the pack is the wolf. But let us never reduce ourselves to ants.
