  2. Michael Moore saw Trump as the human molotov cocktail which the rustbelt voters threw through the window of the establishment. - as white people - what did they have to lose ? When they are white or legally in the country the do not have to fear deportation, and they were not as concerned or worried about the wild (or foolish) things he said. People are selfish - and maybe it was a case of conveniently looking the other way - and hoping that he barks more than he bites. - I am STILL not convinced Trump is worse than HRC. - Starting a war with Iran maybe ? , ramping up things even more in Syria would also have had terrible consequences. Trum is heartless regarding, the migrants (and many other things). A fool and he uses the office to enrich himself. It is hard to decide if his selfish stupidity or the intelligent sell-out of HRC would to more damage. At least people object now to things that were pretty much the same going on under Obama. (the media could have paid attention in 2014, Obama was not willing to spend political capital on poor brown people - migration crisis. HRC was for a hard line - she always overtook him from the right. Obama did not change the foeign policy in Latin America. He did not suport much regime change - well except for Honduras which is a hellhole now. Clinton was all for it - of course. Clinton lobbied a hesistant Obama admin to start the war against Libya in 2011, now it is failed state, they do have slave markets there. Literally. The Corporate Dems are quite comfortable with NOT giving the country good healthcare. Let that sink in. All other wealthy nations have it (most since 70 years) - they do not need to reinvent the wheel. BUT: this time - only this time - they would need to favor their voters over their Big Donors. Clinton was pissed off that Sanders stole her thunder: "This country will never, ever have single payer healthcare". She got quite passionate about that - sommer 2016. 40,000 people are estimated to die unnecessarily according to a Havard study (during Obama admin and with ACA before the current admin tries to defund it ) because of insufficient coverage. There were still people falling throught the cracks. Sure gun violence is terrible. and 40,000 people per year is not small either. - I think Sanders would have wiped the floor with Trump in the debates and the supporters would have campaigned their heart out. Looks like he is preparing to run in 2020. ... one can hope
