even more irrelefant: her character lives in Manhattan, but when she has a kid and marries she can be persuaded to move to Brooklyn. (more affordable - oh well). "you can get me out of Manhattan but you cannot get me out of my heels." Her husband watching her massage her hurting feet. He asks why she does not wear comfortable shoes and switches into the heels in office like many other people do.

They should troll AP and the newspapers - was the whiteboard from the Nixon campaign ? That's the spirit - to turn it into lighthearted publicity (but badly executed, there needs to be a slogan and a time for the meeting somewhere in the photo).

Make a meme of it go on twitter (if you have an account) spread it. - Nixon could use that to make some lighthearted fun of the gaffe. The people that are likely to be interested at all in her message will laugh at the gaffe - and people will also notice the they seem to gang up on her. Never underestimate the appeal of the "underdog" hunted by big bad establishment for petty reasons

Sorry - we never had them. (Noam Chomsky: Manufacturing Consent) They had a little bit of decency and it helped that they were not so concentrated. A journalist that got fired could find another job. - Today we can easily find out their inconistencies. - Back in the day even IF you thought you remembered, it was a lot of work to verify. (checking in the library if you had one and they had an archive - but good luck if you did not remember WHEN or in WHICH newspaper it was).

in 1985 Chomsky was invited by a progressive mayor with wild hair into a town called Burlington. Chomsky held a speech with the title "Deciphering foreign policy jargon" - used by the Reagan admin to justify and communicate war, intervention and atrocities in Latin America - but of course the media colluded willingly. Including AP in what they chose to provide as fodder for the journalists. I think in the 1980s many conservatives would not have condoned what was done with their tax dollar if the media had called a spade a spade.

There are only a few important international news agencies. They are the gatekeepers of the gatekeepers - what would YOU do if you were the deep state or the 1 % ?? (The CIA for instance has been paying journalists for decades, OF COURSE they also try to capture the news agencies. Or NGOs for that matter. Amnesty International comes to mind).

let's see 1) media has a clear bias, can't expect nuanced, neutral, comprehensive coverage from them 2) the gatekeepers of the gatekeepers = news agencies show bias and bad judgement, too (in this case AP). - now could THAT be important - after all her message is pretty unusual compared to that of her competitor - so THAT is what AP and some outlets deem newsworthy ?
